Everyone remembers that first moment when poker “clicked.”
What was the very first lesson you learned — good or bad — that shaped your game?

I honestly don’t remember the very first, but I do know that I was lucky, early on, to learn that good hands don’t always win. Bad beats happen, it is part of the variance of poker. I learned to say, “So be it” and move on to the next hand.
If losing hands really stresses you out, this game will eat away at you!

Be patience is the first lesson i learned

At the beginning of my poker way, I was mistaken in thinking that any cards from “9 to 2” together with “A” were much stronger than the conditional “K10”. And I very often called against 3-4 opponents with “A8”, for example. That was my first lesson in poker, when I realized that the odds weren't as high as I initially thought.
