I see pros of frequently check-raising. In what place is it profitable to do this without getting burned?

Veo ventajas en subir el check frecuentemente. ¿En qué situación es rentable hacerlo sin quemarse?
I personally apply my check raise when I have very strong projects or top pair projects with a pretty good kiker, in both cases my raise would not be too wide to try to control the pot

I do it to have some variable moves... but even in a "nuts" situation we can sometimes use check raise, sometimes just check call and other moves as well so that people don't think your moves all the same...

I generally check raise when I’m in the big blind and I keep getting raise by an aggressive button player. This usually stops that play, plus it’s fun!

When you play against aggresive opponent out of position and you know he/she will bet. Otherwise it's better to bet for value - especially against calling stations.

Check-raises are best in one of the two scenarios: you want them to fold or you want them to give you as much as possible. Look at your hand, assess their potential hands and decide, if it falls under any of those two scenarios. Then think if they will do the desired (for you) action in response to your check-raise. If not, don't do it.

When you feel that you’re in an absolutely strong position with the minimalist of opponents’ ranges beating your hand!
That’s when you got to lay your trap (check) and wait for him / her 🫣 go take the bait and walk into it!
