I’ve only played online so far, but I’m thinking of trying a local live game. For those who play both — what’s the biggest adjustment going from online tables to live ones?
Until yesterday, I only played
online poker, but yesterday I played my first live MTT
poker game, and what an experience! One of the most crucial differences I noticed compared to online poker is that you can read your opponents much more clearly, which in my case I find difficult to do online. Other than that, it's more about learning some actions that we end up not doing in online poker, since everything is done with buttons and so on.
Another difference you will notice is the number of
hands played in a few hours, which is much less than online.
