Not sure how regularly i "used" it but for example in pokerstars i had chat ON for entertainment purposes

And safe to say there were more than enough occasions when tournament's chat was more interesting than the game itself ...

I like to play with the chat closed. I like to focus on the game and in some chats, they keep throwing emojis at each other, and that takes my concentration away. Besides, there are some players who are extremely toxic. That's why I leave it closed.

Years ago on full tilt i used to chat with the pros but ever since then i dont.

I miss those times 😟

Sometimes i had chat on for a short while in the 888 and stars games and i always switched it back to off very quickly.

Some sites make it difficult to chat with all the emojis and throwing of things now.

Chat could be used to induce calls just like live poker so I see it as a good thing.

When i started to play poker i was really into chat and do a lot of talking with my opponents , but with time it is less and less chating , dont know why ..maybe because all want to win ) ...now i use chat very little , just to say hello to some people and pretty much that is it ...sadly ...

No, I don't use chat and I don't even watch who writes what in it in poker because it will just distract you from the game and you won't be able to concentrate on the game properly, especially if they start proving to you what a bad player you are and then argue instead of playing poker
