I started playing poker in person, now that I started playing online poker, I think it's more difficult than face-to-face poker, I don't know why, but I was doing much better in person

Online poker can feel tougher since you can’t read physical tells and players tend to be more aggressive or experienced.

for me online is better! you talking about offline? right? offline poker is more difficult i think. online poker can be more comfortable cause you have nice place to play, open more poker rooms in the same time, no one staring you :) no one can't read your hand by your face :)

Maybe you have a much smaller sample size to look at in live poker and you probably have the benefit of playing against people live who are not poker grinders. I think if you played in some high stakes tournaments or cash games live you might reconsider just how much easier it is.

Online there are tournaments available for a dollar or even less, so bad players dont need to spend $100+ to have some fun, as they do in live poker. So for similar stakes the competition is way tougher online, but in return you dont have expenses going to a casino, the rake is usually lower, and you can play multible tables at the same time.

No physical tells or body language. The pace is much faster. The average player is stronger. Variance feels harsher. Data and tools matter.

Actually, I find playing online poker extremely easy.
The thing is, winning at higher stakes is much harder, because you have to study a lot more than the players who are already very good — that’s where it gets tough.
But playing the micro stakes is very easy.
You just need to study the ranges, the 3-bet ranges, know when to make a c-bet, when to go for a hero steal.
The more you study, the easier the game becomes.

Some people enjoy thinking and acting at a one hand at a time. With online poker it's easy to get distracted.

Obviously, online poker is ALOT toughter. People playing online are just better poker players at average.
They much more often study, watch videos etc. They usually have more experience, since online poker is very fast, so they play much more hands. Many of them are regular grinders, playing 6+ tables at the same time. They more often respect opening ranges, just because online poker is fast, they have no problem folding weak hands.

From the other hand, life casino poker player very often play strictly fo fun, just spending some time gambling. Playing just one table they become bored, can't stand folding about 80% of hands like in "proper" poker it should be - so they limp/open/call with alot of nonsense, just giving away their money.

Life $1/2 or $1/3 cash games maybe can be comparable by level with online $0,01-0,02. If you try online $1-2 you are going to encounter 80% of pros/regs.

In live poker, knowledge plays a greater role and luck plays less. You don't play with bots, there is no HUD, the knowledge is in your head, you can infer from your opponents' reactions

Я начал играть в покер лично, а теперь, когда я начал играть в онлайн-покер, я думаю, что это сложнее, чем покер лицом к лицу, я не знаю почему, но у меня получалось гораздо лучше вживую.
Unlike offline, where the game is slow and you can cope with boredom, online you need to process information quickly and constantly improve your skills. To be successful online, you need to constantly work on the game and improve your skills, rather than relying on chance. You need to carefully choose tables and monitor your bankroll

If you were profitable playing live poker, maybe you should continue to play live. Or play both, but more live poker. Some people are very good at spotting poker tells and reading players. Stick with what was working for you. You can still play online recreationally. But if you had good results in live poker, maybe you should do more of that.

I don't find it to difficult, but there are some crazy plyers, play bad hands and won and won, but you need to keep playing

I would think that live poker is more difficult than online poker; you play more hands online, whereas live poker takes longer to play.

Online poker requires more study and concentration on each hand; you can't see your opponent or read their gestures, but one of the advantages is that you can play more and quit whenever you want.

Of course, online poker is harder in some ways. There’s less psychology and no live tells, so stats matter a lot more. And over time the competition has really increased. I remember playing online poker for about half a year back in 2015 — it felt easy back then: you just played your cards, trusted your intuition a bit, and things went pretty well. But now everything has evolved — HUDs, tracking software, solvers — and the competition is definitely tougher. It has unquestionably become more difficult.

I think it's because in person you're seeing your opponent's reaction, and I believe it's a little easier than online where you're only analyzing the actions. But with time you get used to it and it becomes easier; nothing beats experience!
