Bank won't accept paper check from Bovada

Has anyone in the US received a paper check from bovada?? I won and asked to be sent a paper check but the check is from some Canadian bank so neither of my banks will even touch it!
Any suggestions or solutions to help me out, thanks!

Have you tried to open a business account? Sometime that will get around that. Also call around to to other banks.

Was it that they would not cash it? Or did they not let you deposit it? If it is the former, try depositing it and see what happens. If it is the latter I don't understand that because banks normally have a collections department in charge of collecting foreign items.

I haven't requested a paper check from them in years, because... ummm, it's 2020 and there are still bank gambling regulations in the US and other countries. Use cryptocurrency already.

When I did cash them, they would often be Canadian banks or some payment processor that wouldn't be online very long until it was shut down. It could often be a hassle, so hence... cryptocurrency! It's amazing what's possible in 2020/2021.

The checks are from Canada in U.S. dollars. It should go through. Try another bank and do NOT talk about poker or gambling at all.
