Akira Takasugi, of Japan, outlasted 2,546 entries in the APTC Taiwan Main Event, which crowned him the Main Event Champ, winning $586,710. This was APT's largest Main Event entry to date.

Meanwhile, veteran poker pro John Juanda won the series' one-day High Roller event for $110,401 and outlasted 229 entries.
