Santhosh Suvarna beat out 74 entries in the wsop Event #55 $250,000 Super High Roller NLHE for a cool $5,415,152 and the WSOP bracelet. Santhosh is a relative newcomer to poker since he began learning more of the game in 2022 - he did play poker but not at high levels.

Santhosh is building his poker earnings rather quickly given this is not his first win nor his first WSOP bracelet. The 43-year-old casino owner won a WSOP bracelet in Rozvadov, Czech Republic, in December 2023. He has had a few other notable first-place wins, according to Hendon Mob, which have added to his earnings nicely. Would you believe this win brings his earnings total to over $13 million?

He was a massive chip lead going into the final 3 hands or so after he flopped a straight with J9 to his opp's 2 pair on the turn. He doubled up in that hand and left his opp shortstacked after that. I can't remember what his opp had, but he was at like 6 or 7 BBs, I think.
