Fight for Poker Rights Daily Action Plan - Do Your Part!

[TheEngineer]

With the demise of federal poker legislation in 2012, the fight is now largely at the states. This gives us new opportunities, but many challenges. We'll ALL have to be on board, pushing with all we have.

While this plan is not part of PPA, I do need to mention that PPA is not a group to whom we players outsourced this effort. Anyone who thinks they don't have to work because PPA owes them that is flat-out wrong. In fact, having an organized effort means we all have to work harder, not less.

It's all about numbers and, quite frankly, we need more participants. If we don't show our elected representatives that there is a great deal of support for our position, it will be very hard to win them to our side. The fight itself rests here -- with the poker community -- and we all need to do our part if we want to win.

Let's all be sure to participate in the community daily action plan! It is an easy, effective way for us to magnify our individual voices. By organizing, we have succeeded in securing virtually 100% of political social media poker discourse. State and federal lawmakers have noticed!

Let's also all try to post suggestions for future actions. After all, while the plan does work closely with PPA to optimize effectiveness of the plan, it's not part of PPA. It's the community plan and I'm simply the facilitator (as I have been since well prior to my role with PPA). Thanks!

1. Let's recruit participants by retweeting & favoriting today's #Fight4Poker action plan HERE and HERE, sharing it on our Facebook walls HERE, and sharing it via Google+ HERE.
2. Let's send Gov. Maggie Hassan (D-NH) & Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ) prefilled poker tweets. Gov. Hassan was just inaugurated, so let's ensure she hears from us right away: HERE and HERE
3. Let's keep making & liking poker posts on Gov. Terry Branstad's (R-IA) Facebook wall HERE.
