Pennsylvania is expected to join the largest poker network in the US very soon! Which state is next?

The state of Pennsylvania has been accepted into the MSIGA (Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement) agreement, joining five states in the USA, which will form the largest pool of players for online gaming, including poker. The director of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has stated that "shared player liquidity is coming sooner than later — and maybe within the next few weeks". The MSIGA application was accepted in December, but as it is with all things bureaucratic, there is a boatload of paperwork to be signed and approved, which often takes time.

I'm unsure of the player pool numbers over the six states involved - would have to do a little research.
Will the US be able to compete on the international PokerStars platform? Not at this time. I think most American poker players would be happy to play PokerStars within their own country first.

That's great news, but still far from every state. This article was written in April. It's end of October when I'm typing this, so do we have any updates to which states have joined the list?

Great news for the PA players! Regarding the next state, my bet is on Connecticut. They already have the legislation in place for online gaming, so joining MSIGA seems like the logical next step to actually make their poker market viable. Hopefully, seeing PA join will speed them up.
