Well, this is a really good article and I understand all the pain of Chris, since it looks about the same for us, if not worse: the calculation of the subsistence minimum and when making a decision, banks look very carefully so that the income corresponds to covering the subsistence minimum of all family members (spouses, children, dependents) and the balance corresponds to to cover the monthly fee.

It is the same with small time entrepreneurs in this part of the world. The employee can have a mortgage as long as he/she has long enough work history in the company and has a steady income. But if the entrepreneur - the boss of the employee - asks for a loan, the bank is suddenly not so sure anymore. Kinda hilarious.

yes it's the self-employed period, even if you are doing well. sad how they do people.
but a poker pro, wow seems very risky. I would have needed to be able to buy one in cash before deciding to go pro personally
