Viktor Blom proved his poker game is still alive and kicking by winning the Unibet Poker Battle Royale Dublin. With that, Blom became Unibet Battle Royale champion and $1,625 richer.

I did some digging. This is not the only comeback stage where Blom has appeard. There's an interesting App called Pokio where one of the perks is a possibility to play against Blom.

Yes, Viktor Blom has been playing with some regularity around Europe (Rozvadov etc.) and it would appear he enjoys live poker. He plays quite a conservative game these days compared to his on-line poker persona of yesteryear.

It's great to see him back at the felt again. Like Patrik Antonius, Blom had the reputation of being hyper aggressive but many pros have related (Phil Galfond the most recent) that even if Blom's game was not grounded in deep theory he had the uncanny ability to pick an opponents game apart and play back against them effectively. Galfond rated him as one of the toughest he has ever played.
