888 freerolls adios

Today they ended all those 50 $ and 200 $ turbo freerolls but they were pretty low value anyway. Looks like they need to cut wherever they can, it does not look great lately.

They also changed the $640 (2 x $320 tickets) 20+ freeroll to $320 (now only 1 x $320 ticket)

If we get down to it, at least they give you the ticket, the entries, in pokerstars they give you casino spins to win cents or a power step of a ticket (the 4th part of a ticket to win it in 4 phases). I remember that before they had a daily freeroll of 10 dollars and they removed it.

888 is a platform that offers many things, except for the delay in withdrawals, which is the only annoying thing. The rest is fine.

If we get down to it, at least they give you the ticket, the entries, in PokerStars they give you casino spins to win cents or a power step of a ticket (the 4th part of a ticket to win it in 4 phases). I remember that before they had a daily freeroll of 10 dollars and they removed it.

It was not my intention to "get down to it" but if we do: power path tickets are very easy to release and that whole power path thing is by far superior than the regular freerolls that took place before on pokerstars.

Stars is a way better site then 888 overall, its not even up to debate and some crumbs thrown by 888 will not change anything in that regard.

Finally GG are supposed to start some freerolls on the 18th. They were quite cheap and didn't offer that much value to recreational players. For a site that's that represents the wsop it's incredible how cheap they were.

Yes but only the weekly freeroll is actually there for winning money.
100K weekly and during the week you can qualify for it in the daily freeroll.
Still not a bad deal I'd say

CC freerolls should be still there on 888 (but i did not check) and GG decided to go a different path so far with their daily freebie. Which is imo better and more comfortable than traditional, low value freerolls that take forever.

The only pull they had for new players is that they had those cool freerolls.

I have a theory that the poker sites read these forums and adjust accordingly, I have seen many posts raving about 888 freerolls recently and have even commented on how good they were myself even though I think the site is a sinking ship.

As much as I appreciate it when Cc members give us a tip about a loophole/great freeroll/bonus I’m starting to think it might be better to keep those things to ourselves.

I fully concur with this. Stars to me is Classic Coca Cola while 888 is generic supermarket cola.

Appreciate your input but there is no way they cancelled those because people here "raved" about them. They put up these promos so people talk about it and go to the site to play. Its not like u could just login, push a button for some free cash, and then leave again within a second.

They are most likely just not very well and therefore try to cut wherever they can.

Yes thats sad news, i was wondering today.... . Also all my freeroll tickets for the 500$/3k$/20k$ freeroll vanished. I think theire freroll promotional phase is over, they gonna wait few weeks and return the same freerolls with a different festival name. But we still have the 450$ and 500$ freeroll in the evening (european time) on 888, also CC daily freerolls are still available. Dont worry guys, give it some time and focus on the other freerolls till those rotational freerolls come back online again.

I'm a recreational player and I see many more offers on GG than elsewhere.
