888 have started three "Triple Threat" PKOs on Sundays with an 11, 22 and 55 dollar buy-in. Place in the prizes in all 3 and you get "an extra $500".
Is that "extra $500" worthwhile at all to influence expectations or play? Or is it basically a gimmick since placing in all three prize would be extremely rare, like bookies running ACCA promotions to make more money from mugs.
Two weeks ago I managed to get a $22 ticket from a freeroll satellite, and last week an $11 one from a 10c R+A satellite. This week I didn't get any tickets, but there's a part of me that thinks if I ever manage to get a $55 ticket then it may be worth buying the $11 and $22 even though its out of my bankroll Management expectations just to give it a go. Ideally even if I don't place I'll at least get some KOs from the PKO part anyway. Or is this a gimmick to not be tempted by?
