Cheaters in 888

I really dont think theres much cheating in online poker.It has happened but is discovered quickly.I try to peek at players cards,lol

Sadly if money is involved, cheating is always going to be an issue, its an ever revolving battle between the Gameroom and the cheaters, once on exploit is fixed another one is exposed, it's just a battle of attrition.

At some point I saw some poker site had gotten caught the people who had played as a team. But it said the AI had exposed those, their accounts were cancelled and the other people were returned what they had Lost to them. This was a good while ago and I don't remember which site it was.

What kind of cheating are you talking about? Years ago I came across some sort of multiaccounting "ring" with more than 100 connected accounts, that colluded to prematurely end late registration in satellites. For instance the satellite would require 6 players to start and pay top 3. Then a bunch of them would register in the last few seconds, before the tournament was cancelled, so that there were just the needed 6 players but no more.

And then in the very first hand 3 of them would move all-in preflop with, whatever they had, which would bring the number of players down to 4 and end late registration, before anyone else had time to join. In this way the satellite would run with a big overlay, so it was largely a way to cheat 888 Poker. I told 888 Poker about it, but for whatever reason after several month they had taken no action to stop it. And then I stopped playing there, so I dont know, if action was eventually taken.

Did it ever occur to you that the room itself organized this by planting bots.

There are everywhere cheaters , even ob the greatest online poker rooms , and they are far too many . It's not safe to play online for a lot of money . Many scam and cheating methods online , including bots , advanced RA programs , colludors poker friends ...

I think you should review your game instead of thinking that you are being cheated. It could be analyzed in large tournaments, but I don't think the room will be much use for the 20 usd you can win in a tournament.
