Have you tried $1 and 40 cents Heads up allins game on 888??

Hi pals,
After a long time I was playing on my laptop yesterday on 888. I did able to finish at 8th in CC tourney and got $3. I noticed 888 has offered 40 cents to $3 allin Heads up games.
The games are just lottery like you register and the Cards get dealt and the winner takes all the money.

I tried to experience it as the odds were 50-50 but in the end I lost my $3.

Do tell me your experience about it.

I have played a lot of heads up matches and I have realized that anytime I try to think I can make a profit from heads up only poker only leads to disappointment and the bankroll back to zero. In conclusion I am trying to restraint myself from playing quick money games like heads up or blast.

The only possibility to earn money from this type of all-in games is if you can clear a bonus or any type of offer with them. As you wrote it is 50-50 in outcome and they are fast to play.

Obviously it is more lottery than poker. If they take rake on them you lose in the long run no matter what.

Only play them if you get a thrill from it.

If I want to purely gamble for fun I prefer Black Jack.

odds are not 50-50
you have 50-50 on cards but concidering the rake you will have to win 50.00....01% games games + the rake coverage.

I wish that I could play at this site, but being in FLorida I am not allowed. I watch streamers play all the time and it seems like a fun place to play. If i ever move to Jersey or out of the US ill def play these.

It's exactly like playing red/black on roulette since even that has a rake, when it comes up "green".

Na, not for me, like normal Poker because there's some skill involved. That's just straight up gambling.

Obviously people can do, what they want, with their own money. But I have to draw the line here and say, that personally I think, it kind of suck, when poker sites offer casino games like this and dress them up as poker. The whole point of poker is, that you need to make decisions, so when no decisions are involved, to me its simply not poker. In a game like PokerStars Tempest you at least get the decision to push or fold for 10BB. It might not be possible to beat the rake long term, but its not 100% luck either.

This discussion surprised me. Why would anyone play coin flip with a conscious deliberate knowledge that winnings are much less than loss because of a rake?
