I've done some research, and it depends on the license. Regulated sites (like those on .com sites licensed in Malta or the UK) offer fund protection and fair play. It's crucial to avoid unlicensed sites and check the local laws of each country. What do you think? 🤔

I've been playing poker here in Brazil for several years, and the only site where I haven't received payment is Evergame (formerly Intertops). The others may have some requirements and account verification, but they always pay. So I think it's very safe. Research the poker sites that are reliable in your country and good luck.

I would be careful of Malta sites, Minted stole players funds and the Malta Gaming Authority (it was formerly Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LGA) back then)did nothing about it.

Its not that simple, since even sites, that have licenses in some countries, still operate without a license in others. And many countries dont even have a system for giving licenses in the first place, because online gambling is either outright illegal, or lawmakers still pretend, it does not exist. So I would rather say, that its important to stick with known and reputable sites, that has been around for a while.

It all depends on the site you choose, but the most popular ones are very safe. Nothing weird has ever happened to me on those sites (except in WPT).

I agree! A license is essential to ensure safety and fair play. It’s also important to check the site’s reputation and other players’ reviews.

You search for regulated only poker rooms , that have licence in your country . One of the biggest poker rooms . The smallest are not to trust imo , they can close down , bankrupt any day , or even scam players . I don't trust th| smaller poker rooms , especially the new ones .

And how many cases have you heard where one of these regulartory bodies does something to help a player out who has been cheated? Personally I've heard of zero.
I think a player is best off doing their own research about each site they want to play on. And avoid obvious stuff where you can be cheated (ie. poker clubs).
