Just joined GG Poker

So played a couple nights on GG Poker small deposits (totalling £15). I'm not the best player but no the worst, just playing for a bit of fun.

From playing on GG poker I find the interface very good, but the game play feels 'very off' crazy river cards 10 6 beating AK with two 6s on river and card before lol. Crazy bad beats and what not.

Then in a tournament I was doing very well, 50/550 and even playing conservatively was impossible to stay in the money, people raising big every hand and people winning with crap cards, also I went all in with A J against 2 K with 2 5 A 10 after flop and next card for him to call, 5th card is 2, I mean who calls with a pair of 2's. this happened frequently I noticed.

Such a shame I just want to play a nice game of poker on decent looking site with a fair shake but this is clearly BS with zero chance of winning.

Is this what all poker is like online or are there better sites I can play like Pokerstars????

Unfortunately, this can happen, and you'll need to find games you can win on GG Poker. In my opinion, avoid playing Master Battle Royale or Spin & Gold unless you're playing with a $10 buy-in for Mystery Battle Royale or Spin & Gold. Cash games are generally good, but I wouldn't recommend playing Zoom. For tournaments, stick to low stakes and higher. Micros are just not worth it, and I also don't recommend micro Spin & Gold or Mystery Battle Royale.

Don't worry about bad beats and unpredictable players. Study the game and give it your best. In the long run, you'll succeed.

gg poker is either give you a lot or take everything away
good thing you understood what it is after playing gg poker for two days

Just seems like bingo from what I've seen so far on GG poker.
Also the amount of people ive seen lose on river at 90%+ favourite if frightening, can't be random!

Well, everyone is talking about bots and bad beats on GG Poker. If you feel that way, maybe it's time to delete the App. The amount of complaining I see about bad beats is ridiculous. You'll encounter bad beats in live tournaments too. Just don’t go all-in while waiting for draws post-flop. Only go all-in when you’re 100% sure you're winning. Try that for a month and let me know if you still think it’s rigged or not. Also you have helmet mode so you dont have distraction of other ppl

I don't believe GG or any big poker sites are actually rigged, bad beats are going to happen more online than live as you will play more hands.

I recently started playing poker seriously on GG.
I used to play exclusively on 888, but only in tournaments.
I am a cash game player at heart. Difficult on 888 as there is hardly any traffic and as a German player I don't get rake back or anything else there.

On GG there is at least some rake back for me and the promotions aren't bad either.
I can't say whether GG is a “safe” site. But probably as safe as any other poker site.
Each player is responsible for his own bankroll. If I'm afraid something might happen, then I only leave as much on the client as I can handle.
If necessary, a deposit can be made quickly.

Regarding bad beats and suckouts, I can say that it is no different than on 888.
Shit happens but it's also normal to give out suckouts yourself. I don't see any difference between GG and other providers.
