No more Intertops for German Players

Here I am wondering what Pokerstars is like, I found out that I can't go to Mexico and play on vacation (if I ever do) without being a resident with an address...
nothing against NJ or PA, but I just can't see how traveling there to check out pokerstars makes sense. I need another reason, and southwest doesn't have direct flights to AC to play at their casinos, haven't looked much but the few airlines I did look into didn't have direct flights either... And.. Not paying to fly to NY just to take an expensive uber to NJ...

Also, not wanting to go to PA just to play PS (also, the flights are way more expensive for whatever reason)...just don't see a point.

They say Pokerstars has the most fair RNG, and that site is regulated, Can Germans play there? why not just play there?

Sorry to hear of Intertops is closing to Germans. Of my remaining poker sites, Intertops is the old man and I still like what they offer.

Hopefully, you have another site that can give you joy. I still miss being able to play at Pokerstars. That is a big kick in the teeth.

Sorry to hear that, hopefully you can still play at other sites. I always loved PokerStars. We in the US were shut out of all of them at once back in the day. Thanks to CardsChat for letting me know there were sites I was able to play, good thing I have birthdays. They sent me a Happy Birthday and stated by the way, you can play at some poker sites now. lol

That was a few years ago now, I am finally starting to get back into the swing of things

like others already said, not a big loss. there is almost no traffic and its difficult to withdraw freeroll winnings.

there are still plenty of other options for german players, almost all the big networks are open if i remember correctly. you just have to live with the new taxes.

Thats some sad news.
I myself was told the same about a month ago by pokerstars where i can no longer play.
But thankfully i found other sites like ACR, 888, BOL, GG and a few more.
We just have to accept reality and move on.

This is terrible news. The poker community in Germany is very large. Perhaps this does not affect professional players so much, they can look for another country to do it but recreational players do not

if they close you still got ACR, which is according to you safer than an US bank

i still got money on intertops too, arround 177 dollars and a lot of rake to clear. really sucks.
