The answer to this is simple; because it's a site with a lot of recreational players who play suboptimal.

I think the amount of bad beats and variance is not less on the other sites either, although the fact is that someone "hits" the jackpot almost constantly when sitting on GG.
I've tried the site too, for me it is simple: I just don't like the design and atmosphere of GG.

GGPoker is currently the most popular site for High Stakes MTT players. All of the top players come out to play there.... including the same players you'll see going deep at LIVE tournaments (ie. Triton), you'll also discover that they play at GG too. Do you honestly think they'd all be playing on there if they agreed with some micro fish & freerollers that "the turn hits more often" or "Flushes always hit" "Big stack always wins all-ins!" etc etc etc

Tried GG Poker for their MTT's only never played cash tables. Love their staking option for MTT's. Traffic is good.

Everything else meh at best...scummy and douchebagy at worst. Took away sharkscope so now no way to catch cheaters and you have to rely mainly on GG's Pokercraft and stats. Not completely transparent about the rake(unless this has changed). Also no bumhunter which doesn't bother as all take all comers from 2nl-50nl cash. The problem is how the hell they gonna prove bum-hunter and what happens when you're wrongly accused? I'll tell they steal your money and you have no recourse. Plenty of stories of GG now likely winning players and giving them a hard time when they go to withdraw. Overall GG and how they operate just isn't for me. I haven't been scammed outta a dime and haven't had an issue getting paid in 20 years on Pokerstars. I'm good where I'm at.

^I feel I'm missing things to add to this list. Meh list is already long enough to prove my point.

A lot of people like to bag on Pokerstars and the new owners but when it comes to trust, security, not being scummy and douchebagy Pokerstars is still the best site on the internet for poker.

No one needs to answer my questions and I'm not taking questions or interested in a debate. Nothing anyone says will change my 20+ years of personal experience.

Maybe they are all using the secret invite only version of GTO Wizard called "the turn hits more often" for their study

If I had a dollar for every time I saw a post about GG poker being "fixed" or "full of bots" i'd be rich.

The site has no more or less variance or bad beats than any other in my experience

Yes and back then when the old stars was basically what is GG today we had the same discussion on multiple forums about stars.

In my opinion, gg poker is so attractive and repulsive at the same time because there are a lot of unskilled bingo players and maybe a few professionals too, and mixing it all together makes gg poker!

It's a room like any other, it's managed with algorithms. If you learn how to play correctly, you don't worry about the kind of players at the tables, obviously, if I had to choose, I would choose to let my table be all dumb so I could always exploit them.

Since I can no longer play on PokerStars ,888 and Party Poker ,GG Poker has become my favorite site. I have never seen anything different there.I do trust GG.

This is because they are memorable hands, and you tend to get all in pre more often with these hands.

Its actually fully logical that you may lose to these hands more than any other actual hand. For example I don't lose with 44 as much , cos why the hell would I be all in with 44 very often

Okay, agreed. Definitely not only those for sure.

But I still believe they like to promote the luck/bingo formats for a good amount.

If you look at their main page, 4/9 are to put into this category, imo. And the first three especially.

When I open up GG I am opening up the client (never the webpage) and when I open it I only see what I intend on seeing/playing (as I do with every site I play on) and for me that is POKER > MTTs and Cashgame (< ZOOM-Style). I honestly don't even look at the rest and if you were to quiz me for a free $100 to list off the headings going across the top of my screenshot, I wouldn't even get half of them correct (I'd only get Tournaments, Rush & Cash, Holdem and that's it). I don't play Casino games on any site... not if they give out 1,000 free spins (I don't even know what they give out at each of the sites because I am not interested. I only play poker and only MTT & Cash).

I do understand what you are saying though. For me it doesn't apply. For someone going on the site without knowing what they want to play, the advertising could lead them to the fast-paced gambly games. But then wouldn't that be what they're interested in if they're choosing to go that route?
