Olybet.eu is skin for GGPoker that also offers independent sportsbetting and casino. They hold Estonian license and are targeting only European customers, I think for new registrations it's only Latvia, finland, Estonia and Lithuania I think.

Confirmed information:
-
Estonian license which is very similar to Malta license
- Payment methods: Many, same as most Malta licensed sites have
- They support direct EUR currency deposits
- They use EUR currency as an account balance or when doing sportsbetting or casino but switch to USD for poker since that is done in GGPoker network.
- No fees on deposits and withdrawals

Unconfirmed information:
- What kind of currency exchange rates do they offer when playing poker? (I have asked even support but they don't have that information on hand)
- How does the currency change when playing poker? Is it like partypoker where it changes every win automatically without fees to euros?
- Do Cardschat freerolls work when playing through Olybet?
- How strict are the bonuses?

I have been desiring to make account for years, the site looks extremely good and I have heard nothing but positives from confirmed customers. Do you have any experiences with this site? Any negatives? Positives?

The same thought has crossed my mind but have another account on their network feels tricky.
But having an account there would probably not allow to have same bonuses on both sites (e.g. the daily free game, if it exists on Olybet) that would probably be the kind of thing that is against rules.

But what would be the benefit of joining that since the poker network is the same? Unless satelliting to e.g. Kings of Tallinn is the goal.

I think Olybet could be better option for us and we should join in near future if we want to play with real money buy-ins. Deposit and withdrawal fees are atrocious in GGPoker at least for me. Maybe they are personal only for me or something since I don't see that many people complaining . They only allow USD through bank (exchange rate applied by your bank which usually is bad) and other deposit methods take 3%/5% fee. Maybe I just don't know how to do it correctly... Last time I paid something through bank that was in USD I lost like a dollar for just $15 purchase this was back in 2020. Withdrawals I don't know since currently I have less than $50 at my account but last time I had enough for withdrawal they took flat $1 per withdrawal + withdrawal again only in USD which my bank will convert to euros using their horrible ratio. This stuff adds up!

I have been thinking of starting to be active on GGPoker only since very recently despite having account there for years. That's why I haven't been too motivated to find best way to start playing or moving money around in there.

----

Olybet seems better option overall although I am doubtful CC freerolls or other affliate freerolls show up in the client. Bonuses I think are okay to use in both sites. Most sister sites allow this kind of stuff.

I contacted Olybet:

OlyBet

I think this is good enough for me :)... maybe little confusing, but it's fine.

I also asked about currency exchange and:

Olybet currency

Olybet currency 2

Olybet currency 3

GGPoker exchanges currency only during deposit or withdrawal (bank's currency exchange ratio)
Olybet exchanges currency during every single buy-in so even if it's better it could end up costing more

Tough call but I think Olybet takes the cake due to simpler withdrawals and possible no fee currency exchange (could be Google ratio).

Just need to get confirmation on the currency exchange ratio and I am registering account in Olybet when I am in mood to play a lot so I can benefit from welcome bonus and definitely go for that Kings of Tallinn thing. I have always wanted to play there, unibet Open Tallinn was my dream few years ago but didn't qualify sadly despite having multiple 250€ tickets on my Unibet account. The last step to 2000€ package was just too much.

Cardschat freerolls are not working. They spin as they please, there's no honest "random" system, because I play on many sites and have been playing at casinos for years. This site simply eats your money. Sure, it might give you a win, but it won't give you more than you deposited. What I had at first was tolerable. You could try poker.

I installed the client only for to take a peek. I do not see the CC games. The client looks mostly the same as on GG.

Also interesting that I don't see any official social media account (in English) on X. There's one on Insta and maybe something on FB

Who really knows to which direction things go in our country? Will the license model come in 2027 or will they postpone it because of the election year? I've herd some rumors that offering bonuses to customers (in the license model) would be forbidden.

Casinos are like that. I think they only give wins for new customers or those that are on the verge of becoming addicted so they can get lifelong customer. They won't reward casual players... I have especially noticed this after putting wagering limits to casino parts of the sites. Now I can't even get 20€ wins... :ROFLMAO:

I prefer to play roulette with real live dealer over slots because you can actually see the ball landing in stream so there is never any funny business

Pretty much what I expected in the client maybe only surprise is how many Kings of Tallinn freerolls... Their customer service btw is Estonian too, introduces themselves in Estonian and you have to specify you want English

I seriously hope for the love of god they will postpone licensing model as much as possible. There is of course small chance we won't end up like sweden / norway etc as I heard they might only delete welcome bonuses but allow bonuses for existing customers and in general Finland always has been pro-gambling country and fairly tolerant to stuff like this so there is chance licensing model won't be crippling. Still can't be good thing. Sites like Winamax are likely 100% gone when licensing model hits.

I have been preparing quite a lot. I will save every cent I can get in 2026 and I am ready to do some things to work around this. I have been preparing for awhile now not just because of this but due to other issues with EU, our country and global economic downtrend.

When I deposited money to GGPoker UK, there was no currency exchange at all. The transaction was done in USD. I haven't tried withdrawal yet but according to its closed loop policy, a withdrawal to the same payment method should also result in USD as well. I use a debit card which charges no fee in currency transactions despite that my bank account is in GBP.

I heard similar recently... maybe they have secretly improved exchange ratios in banks / cards.

Probably . I don't see 1$ Fee for withdrawal as atrocious. Do you pay more ?

And I am almost 100% sure it's not allowed to have an account at GGpoker AND a skin for it.

As long as the regular GG room is available in Finland you won't be able to create one at olybet

Did you look at the screenshots? Olybet doesn't seem to mind.

Support staff definitely seems unaware of everything I was asking about :D but I still think it's likely allowed. At least other sites with multiple skins allow using both accounts in full form, for example Unibet allows you to have another account on Pokerihuone (Finnish skin for Unibet, owned by same entity), despite them having almost identical promotions now. Literally like 85% of the promos are identical. You are even allowed to enter same flip tournament with Unibet and Pokerihuone accounts (confirmed by Unibet community) but obviously you have to earn the ticket in both accounts individually. Just not allowed to enter same regular tourneys or same cash tables of course.

$1 fee is INSANE... Am I seriously only one who is so stingy ?

Now that you mention it, I remember someone getting into trouble after getting banned from GGPoker for winning too much. He was allowed to create Natural8 account (on GGPoker network) and even verify the account but then when he started winning too much there too, they banned that too implying the ban from GGPoker was to network and all it's skins.

I still think it's okay to create Olybet account since it's obvious that example is due to winrate.

That's not even 0,9€ xD I really don't mind that 😅

Yes exactly 👍🏼

I seriously would check with GGpoker support first. And if they confirm this , Id save this mail in case they want to withold your funds in future because of that double account..you never know..
Actually you probably would need some written confirmation by someone at GG with some kind of authority. The support clerks confirmation probably won't count much in a worse case scenario like a court trial

Skins are usually only available in countries where the GGPoker App is NOT available.
Since you have also access to GGpoker I am quite certain they could argue double account.
And they would have a point

Yeah I gotta do this for sure 100%. Good to have email as backup. Thanks for the tip. I am not in rush, I am still overwhelmed by GGPoker, too much going on in that site

0,9€ adds up quite fast :D... 0,00€, that is my sweet spot !!!

It just happens that I did send them an email few days ago:
I have a few question about GG skins.

I am your customer and my account with you is my only connection to GG Network, but am I allowed to open an account with another site e.g. olybet.eu which also operates in GG Network?

If I am allowed to do so, am I also allowed to use poker welcome bonuses on that site even when they are most likely identical with what you gave me when I started?

I do acknowledge the very clear no-no's that having two accounts on the same network would make possible (like having two seats in a same game) but are there any less clear forbidden actions that I should know about?

Having an account on another site is something I'm simply pondering on, but I would like to be clear on things before I decide what to do next.
And their response was, well...

Yep I think this is pretty good.

I'll probably still re-ask Olybet in couple of days see what they say just for extra confirmation. Getting banned from GGPoker is definitely last thing I want to do :D

I did some more research...
I sent an email to Olybet, but surprise surprise, they didn't fully answer it themselves but instead they asked from GG, and returned with answers.

So, I'm not seeing actual obstacles on this route. One simply has to be smart about it.

I ask GGsupporter on email, i wanted to switch on Natural8, because of payment system they allowed. But Natural8 answer same as Olybet to you (its fine).
GG told me that is violating the rules. If you are player at GGpoker, better don't try they may ban your account

I deposit in $ from skrill, but GGpoker has options when you withdrawal which currency you want $ or Euro, and for me was better GGpoker direct to send me in Euro instead of Skrill convert (where i lose around 2-3% in coversation)
Everything fine.

Yes this definitely clears tons for me. I think it's fine especially for low stakes players.

Does your country have 3% deposit fee on top of currency exchange troubles for Skrill from GGPoker like mine does?
