I didn't play much on PokerStars for last 3 months and I receive only maximum 2 free spin for 3 months straight. Most nights "No win"
Last night I made 35€ worth of bets sportsbetting on Stars which all LOST, I also didn't take easy 10€ from last night's other promotion
Now I instantly got 5€ from today's daily free spin

Coincidence or Rigged?

Rigged in my opinion. I love PokerStars <3

It’s just a coincidence, of course. Do you really think the system tracked your actions and decided to reward you so that you’d lose another 35 euros tomorrow? Do you think it all works on such a primitive level?

I like to entertain the idea. There is no way to prove it but I believe most of the best rewards in these bonus spins and extras are given to the preferred customers. I think one evidence is those raffle tickets, PokerStars used to hold flip poker tournaments to hold raffles where you could see the action but now they just happen in the background without being able to see the actual raffle from happening.

I have also had good luck in those when I make donation towards Stars but if I am passive then "Unfortunately you didn't win this time" message comes more often than even small prize.

Also Malta license allows preferential treatment in bonuses and VIP Programs as long as the actual gambling is fair.

Do they promise anywhere, that everyone have an equal chance of winning? If not it makes a lot of sense to reward your good customer rather than people, who contribute little or no rake at all. I think, 888 used to have a system like this, or at least so I heard from others.

I was spinning the free wheel in the casino section — you get one spin per day — for about three weeks and didn’t win anything. But after I placed a $5 bet on a football match (which I actually won), I suddenly got lucky with the wheel too. So I think there might be a direct connection.

Favouring the players who rake more in form of bonus promotions isn't illegal and it is not rigged.
That would require the intention of fooling people which they aren't since its all written down in their endless pages of their ToS

Be glad that you get something free and enjoy the madness you will meet there.
We Germans get nothing but madness for free there (no free spins no rakeback)
So enjoy it. ;)

They do mention the chance percentage of each prize so they do technically promise equal treatment unless the chance percentages mentioned are different for each customer

I can't access the current chance percentages for each prize from general information without logging in and opening the info tab on Spin of the Day.... so the conspiracy continues!

True dat! And they do that quite often, like if you play few casino sessions you will start receiving chests with 2€-5€ Instant Casino Bonus every 3-7 days, the quantity and quality of these chests depends on the volume you played in casino for. After around 3-5 weeks without playing casino they stop. Those instant bonuses do have redemption points requirements that make them mostly useless but still pretty good promotion... if you are already playing casino for fun anyways

I think the Spin of the Day wheel being rigged is different than this. I think the expectation is that it's fair spin but who knows. I am going full conspiracy here!

I am definitely enjoying this ;). Finland is moving to license model sometime in the future, likely next year which will likely lead to death of bonuses, free spins, rakeback and leaderboards. The nation will burn from this change and reach the streets... death of nation is imminent! That's why I am going all out this year!

Try live game shows! My recommendation, Treasure Island.
I clear my bonuses 2/3 times that way.
Often with a nice multiplier

I really enjoyed reading the thread :) (y)

I'm not someone that goes for offers/promotions/bonus hunting and if I receive anything for 'free' I'm just grateful and improves my impression of the site... I don't like/want to waste time and energy on thinking about rigged games/RNG(even for free daily spins), I do my research on the site before I open my account and if for some reason I lose that 'trust'- I just stop playing on that site... I have friends that talked often about rigged poker games, rigged sports events etc. and because of this they ended up losing interest in this activities/hobbies... I prefer to not go down this route as I still like playing poker a lot after 15+years(I'm a recreational player that takes it pretty seriously... other people I know spend a lot of time and money on games and/or different outdoor activities... while I do participate in some of this, what I like the most is to grind/study and improve my poker game and why not, maybe make some extra money while doing it 💰 )

That's the right attitude (y) and hopefully the regulations won't scare away the big sites and things will remain relatively normal for your country... just leave it to the government to create problems or complicate things rather than solving them...

There are scammers there, and why play there if you are being deceived, it’s a rigging.

Used to be a great site. That time is long over.
Loved it there too but Stars is a sinking ship. I only play there with freespins anymore

I would be willing to bet that they reward players who make deposits, rather than just rake. I almost want to test out whether making frequent deposits, rather than say making just one and sitting on it as a bankroll, is what actually drives the "luck" for their spins.

Same

I have same ones. The probability seems accurate for non-casino players. I would say I get about 2 times a year the 5€ prize.

The timing when you get the prizes seems to favorable for those that play casino based on my conspiracy theorist PhD degree. When I used to play a bit of casino I would receive the 8x spins etc much more commonly. However this was over a year ago and if I remember correctly the odds were different since there was also 10x free spins back then. I also have distinct memory of winning the 5€ prize twice in the same month when my casino activity was extremely high.

You gotta get those casino games going, sun ;)! Start with another rigged promotion: Stacks by PokerStars

Insane

The odds in Platinum and Diamond vaults are also hyper manipulated for those that lose in casino and to those who win in casino. Or impulse based maybe? My thoughts are based on sample size of under 5 vaults

Only 18 600€ wagering in European roulette required for Diamond Vault, it's fun for ages 18 and upwards, join us! :sneaky:

I limited myself to free offers and sometimes very rarely a few cents leftover from poker because i dont want to fall into the casino games trap. On Stars i never play anything in the Casino.

There is no way that table posted are the true odds. People who either play casino and/or deposit seem to win sometimes or even regularly. I never win anything on that wheel at all and if then its some super low cent figure but not even that anymore since 90+ spins lmao.

I have had good experiences with spins on the PokerStars platform. This spin was two months ago and I won $100. 😁 I think it's pure coincidence; it's an algorithm designed to award prizes to anyone, anywhere, regardless of whether you've been winning or depositing. It's just a matter of luck. Screenshot 20250928 141910

I am jealous. I would do anything to get my hands on 100 bucks from a free spin like that.

Good morning everyone. I don't know how the PokerStars roulette works. Now, I can give my opinion about the 888poker site. Yes, I think it is manipulated — not in the sense of being fraudulent, but in the sense that each prize does not have the same probability of landing. Because that roulette has several prizes: there is one thousand dollars in cash game money, there is casino money, there is sports betting money. I have never gotten anything other than the freeroll ticket, which is that freeroll with 3 thousand people for 200 dollars. Every time it is the same ticket. For three years I have never gotten any other value. Which, in a live roulette, would be impossible, because there are eight or nine possible results. Only one result comes out every day for three years.

So, it is not manipulated in a fraudulent way, but it is configured in a way that the freeroll ticket has a much higher percentage of coming out than any other prize, compared to the one thousand dollars, which is the biggest cash game prize. That is, the site makes it seem that you can win around 1,000 dollars, but it does not explain the percentage. So, it should explain: the chance of getting the one thousand dollars in cash game is 0.1%, while the chance of landing on the ticket is 95% or 99%. It does not explain this.

Yep... I have always wondered what would happen to the 888 Spin if you like wagered $1000+ worth in casino. Would it then maybe land on something else other than freeroll ticket

I don't even bother with the 888 spin, it's ALWAYS freeroll ticket for me too and everyone else I have talked
