I don't follow it, as I live in the US so none of the news really matters, but from the bits I have been catching here and there, it looks like FT will be back for all of you outside the US pretty soon.
(and a part of me dies everytime I see the name still)

Honestly, I wasn't a fan of how FTP tables looked. I like Merge tables and feel better. Maybe you guys will get use to it with time.

I would rather someone buy their software and then go with a completely different name. I loved FTP's software, but going back to FTP would make me feel dirty, and make me feel like I was going back to my ex who cheated on me. The bitch can keep my $150. I'm just lucky to get out with my sanity!!......

To answer your question, unfortunately: No. Carbon and FTP had completely different software.
