Without knowing what site you're referring to, I can only say that if you don't like it, find a site that doesn't have them.

To me, they feel like tilt-bait, a way to provoke someone into tilting.
The laughing emoji is almost always interpreted as mockery.
The ‘You’re a mess’ one comes across as more aggressive and sometimes outright offensive.

Interesting how different it gets translated so that it becomes another meaning..
In german the thumbs down avatar gets translated to" Du nervst"- you're annoying

Until last year or so the avatar"Im so good" was translated to Ich bin so geil, I am so horny xD
To be fair we use the word "geil" in various context with different meaning

I hate them too especially on GGPoker but lately I have been slowly progressing towards semi-enjoying them at Unibet & Winamax, they are less mean than the ones at GGPoker

Same with HUD. Why does every site now have the HUD? Poker is becoming worse!

Just use the helmet mode and you don't have to see them.

On Stars and Party one can pretty much disable all animations permanently. On GG the helmet mode is a nuisance that has to be activated every time separately, so it's not set it, and forget it type of thing.

I switch all throwables and chatbox off every single time I play poker nowadays. I did used to throw them a lot on party poker they are hilarious on there.

Don't care and they don't bother me in the least.....but boy do they ever send a lot of players into hard tilt mode almost every time they're used against them. Truly amazing how soft the world has become.

Honestly? Those avatars they send after a hand… especially the laughing one and the you suck one…
I feel like they were invented specifically for people who are losing and don’t know how else to vent their frustration.
If they added an avatar that says Go focus on your game instead of sending pictures, it would probably be more useful!
