You may have recently heard about the fake rakeback event by CoinPoker, which made a huge impact on social media. As you know, online poker sites generally rake around 4–5% in cash games. Their fake promotion claimed 100% back, but in reality, they doubled the rakes during that period while otherwise raking as usual.

The boomers also brought a TemuGGpoker interface to the platform. Need to check new options to play online crypto poker.

Sounds about right I didn't even pay attention or look into it as I figured there was a scam built in ..it's the same as these deposit bonuses all the sites do ..making them unlikely to be able to be obtained before people end up losing it all and never rolling it off very enough times to make it withdrawalable ..should be if it's real you have to roll it over once on whatever total and you can take it out ..most make it like 5 to 10 times to then be able to have it ..which is no bonuses at all .

You forgot to mention "Basepoker" as one of those new options to play online crypto poker 😅

Coin didnt double rake during the promo period but they massively increased it yes. Not a fan of how they are deceiving their player base.

I'm not aware since I just joined the site but it would seem by your statement that if you're getting 100% rake back, if they double the rake, you're just getting back double?

The only thing I know about Coinpoker is that they made their platform much better than it was. I heard about that rake promotion but haven't played there yet.

I'm noticing that online poker is getting worse... it's only a matter of time before offline poker becomes more popular again... both Coin Poker and other websites prioritize their own interests over the players' well-being((

Haven't tried Coinpoker but did try Phenom poker another crypto type site. Just like most things crypto.....a scam, sketchy, and trash that the majority were never going to adapt too. Not to bag on just crypto sites a lot of sites are just meh, do scammy, sketchy things and aren't really that trustworthy.

Cheers!!!

We'll have to wait and see, they've cancelled almost all the tournaments that existed there, hoping they'll come back.

My understanding is you get 100% of the higher rake back, but then once initial offer is over rake is mich higher. I dont play there so this is only what I've heard

Their rakeback system relies on you buying their own CHP currency, which you can't even convert on their website anymore. Plus, their random number generator is just as bad as everyone else's, no matter what nonsense they tell you about some new, innovative technology.I'd guess that 75 percent of your opponents aren't real players. They're allowing automated seat assignment programs to be used.

You get the exact same. That is the scam.
They offer 100% rakeback and they doubled their rake.
So you gain nothing but being exempt from the rake during the promo time
When it ends, you simply have a pokerroom with criminally high rakes.

Better stick to GG . Their rake is high also but at least their rakeback program is REAL .
I am currently on "Crab Level" 30% rakeback.
You collect your rakeback in form of Gems you can redeem for real Cash .
I converted gems in february worth of 75$
Not too bad

There is no legit cryptopoker site with a decent playerpool to compete with.
If you're dependant on crypto, deposit via BTC at GG and set your withdrawals to your e-wallet

Nothing is free!

Sometimes you see advertisements for no-commission share dealing or currency exchange. There may be no fees as such but they simply increase the spread between buying and selling. Why should poker sites be any different?
