I’m still figuring out whether it’s better to stay loyal to one poker room or move between a few depending on traffic and game quality. Using one site makes things simpler, but switching rooms sometimes helps find softer tables or better tournament schedules. I’ve noticed that different rooms can feel very different even at the same stakes. Right now I’m testing both approaches to see what fits me best. Curious how others handle this. Do you mostly stick to one room, or do you like to shop around?

When I find a poker room I like I stay loyal to one poker room until I dont like it anymore or have to leave for other reasons. It is important for me to feel comfortable while playing.

Trying a few and narrowing down where you have the most comfort and profits is quite helpful for long-term fun and success

I've started shopping around and used the welcoming offers. I used to be quite loyal, but it is not that bad to use multiple Apps. User interfaces are very similar. Just needs some organizing to remember what tournaments there are in which places and when.

I think it's good to have a couple... keeps things interesting and you don't have all your eggs in one basket👍

Poker rooms like 888Poker and PartyPoker conduct very active advertising campaigns in several countries, attracting a large number of recreational players. As a result, their player pools are heavily saturated with recreational players from the UK, Australia, Canada, and Brazil. Those who have played poker for a while know that these countries boast the highest density of fish.Playing in such situations, even a less skilled player can win more money. A simple understanding of poker fundamentals is enough to play profitably.

20+ year player online. I've tried all the major ones over the years but mostly stick to Pokerstars. Pokerstars has the best security, my 20+ years of trust with zero issues, doesn't do scummy things and are more transparent then most sites. The downside the competition is a bit tougher then most sites. But I prefer trust and security when dealing when money. Too each there own thou.

With all that said Pokerstars is still plenty beatable at the stakes the majority of us play without a ton of studying if you have some experience and already studied poker for awhile and are a winning player.

Cheers!!!

I think it all depends on how the poker room treats you. I used to play on PokerStars because it had a good freeroll tournament league, but from one day to the next, it no longer existed. All the free tournaments turned into satellites where almost no one qualified for the main events.

So I decided to give other poker rooms a chance, especially those that focus more on freeroll players or very low stakes. In the end, it all depends on what you like. And if what you like about a poker room is taken away, you switch. Simple as that.

During my years as a poker player, I was very loyal to 888poker and PokerStars, but over the years, and with the complicated sanctions against my country, my favorite platform, 888poker, left. That saddens me greatly, but I will always consider it my favorite. Seeing that there were no other options, I decided to try other poker platforms, and now I play on GGPOKER and WPT. I'm new to these platforms, but I really like them.

I think more options are always better than a single one

I play in several rooms at the same time. But my current favorite is Ignition, formerly Bodog.

One poker room - one account. One account - one bankroll. Isn't it obvious that it's better to have several bankrolls so that they complement each other?

I am registered in several poker rooms. This way it is easier to choose tournaments for your limit.

Switching rooms is a decision that should be based more on win rate and table conditions than just a change of scenery. I personally start looking for a new site if I notice the 'field' has become too 'reg-heavy,' meaning most of my opponents are solid players and the easy money from recreational players has dried up

Always play on the site(s) that you're most profitable on or give you the highest hourly.

Depending on your game and your play style this could be any one of numerous options. Generally you'll want to look for either low rake and or good rake back for Cash Game players and for MTTs you want either a lot of fish at the table or low tournament fees and a slow structure allowing you to put your skill edge to use.

There's no real point in staying loyal to a site unless they take care of you in return. In my opinion this is done by them making sure they have a good rake/fee structure and incentives to make sure there are weaker players at the tables.

Alternatively if you're not a winning player changing the site can only do so much, so it might also be best to play on the site you enjoy most if you're only looking for enjoyment out of poker.

Hope this helps!
