For Dutch players; if you have played on Pokerstars.eu (not Pokerstars.fr) and you have paid gambling tax you can get it back from the tax authorities. The Supreme Court has indicated that Pokerstars.eu has its seat in Malta (EU) and not Man (non-EU). For Pokerstars.eu the EU legislation applies and so you can reclaim the specified profit tax.

I thought it was illegal anyway to play online poker? So how can you claim tax back?
Anyway, I never win so probably not applicable for me
