Hi all,

In the last wsop I heard things about a new modern tool that allowed people to improve at poker 10 times faster than with any other tool.
It was supposedly under a final round of testing at that time and just a few players knew about it. I think 2 or 3 big names were behind it.

In the past weeks, I have read here and there more information about Optimuspoker.com which is presented as a next gen solver. I am pretty sure that's the same project.
Apparently access is restricted to happy fews, and currently only a few big stables and top poker coaches use it.
For example, this is mentioned here : https://www.twoplustwo.com/post?postId=59213300#post59213300
and here : https://www.poker-academie.com/forum/t/quelquun-utilise-t-il-optimuspoker/117379

I also saw a very positive feedback in this thread : https://www.casino.us/cardschat/poker-software-tools-61/best-gto-solver-490239/
and some screenshots like this one : https://www.clubpoker.net/forum-pok...stakes/?page=479&tab=comments#comment-5414452

and now I find this : https://www.instagram.com/p/DU29EAHkbuG/

Apparently that's an invite-only platform : can anyone let me know who I can contact to get invited to apply and start using it ?

I opened it. It looks like it's not ready yet, but it lets you play hands against AI bots and gives you a score after each 10 hands. I like it.

I’ve also heard some discussion about OptimusPoker being described as a “next-gen solver,” but from what I understand, a lot of the hype comes from marketing rather than verified public results.

In general, modern poker solvers (like PioSolver, GTO+, or Simple Postflop) already solve very complex spots using game theory optimal (GTO) models. For a new tool to be truly “10x faster” or dramatically better, it would need either:

  • A fundamentally different solving algorithm
  • Major hardware/cloud integration advantages
  • Or a more user-friendly learning interface (which might make studying more efficient, even if the math isn’t revolutionary)
Often when people say a tool helps you improve “10 times faster,” they’re referring to better visualization, simplified outputs, or structured training paths — not necessarily a breakthrough in solver accuracy.

If access is limited to high-stakes stables and top coaches, that could simply mean it’s in beta testing or positioned as a premium product. But until there’s transparent technical information, independent reviews, or proven results in public games, it’s hard to judge how revolutionary it really is.

One important thing to remember: tools don’t create winners on their own. Even the best solver is only as good as the player’s ability to interpret outputs and apply them in real games.

Hey...
I happened to find out about Optimus through the post below:

I got interested and went to check out the information, but for some reason I only managed to access the solver part today. Before, I could only access the trainer.

It seems promising, however, there are already many similar tools on the market, like those with AI training... So I think they're in that phase with a lot of marketing but still delivering little!

The tool seems to still be under development and we have very few options, so I believe we'll have to wait and see how they develop for a more complete evaluation.

@noprob
Would you like to give us some insights about Optimus?

In the last few days I downloaded one called GTO Nexus, totally free, but it's still under development.
