Has anyone tyried to download poker software like americas cardroom on a chromebook. i have an acer chromebook 15 and when i try to download it it tells me to go to the chrome web store to get an App that can open the file. does anyone no what the app i should download is?

ChromeBook runs Chrome OS, not Windows. You are going to find that you can't run any poker software at all on your ChromeBook. If the poker site has a mobile app, then possibly you can play via that since it is browser-based most of the time. Unfortunately, at this time, the only games you can play via ACR Mobile are Casino games -- no poker.

Technique you can install Linux on chrome book, which can then emulate windows but honestly it's so complicated and so time consuming to figure out it's not worth it IMO.

Global poker, ignition, and BetOnline all have mobile compatible website poker clients. You can easily play on all these sites with Chromebook.

You can also use Chrome remote desktop to control/play your desktop pc from your chromebook. This is the only way to play ACR from Chromebook.

i just bought a laptop strictly for poker rooms. guess this chromebook is getting returned to walmart. i wanted to play today on this laptop not my mobile....any new updates on using chrombook and pokersites. cannot download none
