I’ve been experimenting with solvers like PioSolver and GTO+, but I’m not sure how much they actually help at NL2–NL25. Do you think solvers are worth it for micro/low stakes, or just for higher levels?

I think solvers are most valuable at higher stakes where players already play closer to GTO. At micro/low stakes (NL2–NL25), opponents make so many exploitable mistakes that strict solver lines aren’t always practical. Still, using solvers to learn fundamentals and understand why certain plays work can really help build a strong base for the future.

I haven't had the opportunity to use solvers, but I have faced several rivals who I think would be using a program because of the way they played their hand! salutes

Have not tried them yet but thought they are more aimed at mid stakes and high stakes. But even at low stakes helps to know how you are meant to play but the ideal plays at low levels may not always be optimal with the erratic plays at low level.

Solvers can help low-stakes players, but their impact is limited if basic fundamentals aren’t mastered first. They provide insights into optimal play, bet sizing, and ranges, allowing players to understand mistakes and improve decision-making. At low stakes, most opponents make obvious errors, so learning basic strategy, bankroll management, and tilt control often yields greater results than relying solely on solvers. Solvers are more useful for understanding advanced situations, preparing for higher stakes, and developing long-term thinking, but they cannot replace consistent practice and fundamental skill-building at the start of a poker journey.

Yes, you are learning. But on practice they are helping a lot on high stakes more

At NL25, yes. Even 10-15 years ago that limit was tough with many solid players in rooms with stronger field like pokerstars . May be even down to NL10 now, that's a judgement call.

You should focus on exploiting players when you can - and GTO when you can't.

In low stakes you probably do not run into very many players that are playing GTO and you probably play with a lot of players that are very exploitable.

I think it’s helpful for sure no matter what, once you start learning from solvers you can practice in low stakes and experiment a little. Nothing wrong with learning everything you can.

The solver should lead to a deeper understanding when to exploit and when to play GTO.
I think to use it for learning when and how to exploit and when not.

Solvers start to be useful at around $0.01/$0.02 NL.500NL is really hard, even if you work a lot with the solver. Most people will benefit from learning the basics and how to exploit them, but solvers can help you find plays you haven't had in your arsenal at any limit.
