There once was a free HUD called FPDB.
I don´t know if it ist still maintained and support sites like GG(no HUD allowed there) or CoinPoker.
Also modern SNG form like Spins could be missing.
Next thing is you have to be a computer nerd to get it up and running.
All other HUDs have a testing period after that you have pay to use further.
Classic ones PT4, HM3 are middle piddle priced with high annual maintainance fees.
H2N is high priced yearly subscription.
DH2 is a bit cheaper with some drawbacks in ther tournament section (the graph is not top notch compare to the others mentioned.
Your choice is mainly driven by, what sites will you play on and is a HUD allowed there.

Both versions H2N3 and H2N4 are no longer free, they have trial periods and then you have to pay.
Check the webistes for H2N3 and H2N3.
H2N3 $49/month billed yearly ($588)
H2N4 has two paid plans

This is a pricing that is only advised for serious High Stakes Grinders that have a solid winrate.
H2N is the highest priced product in the market.
PT4 and HM3 are less expensive and I think PT4 is for non Asian Pokerrooms still the best solution with the best feature package.
And also a HUD does not magic things, you need to have a fairly big samplesize for some stats to get an idea what they are doing.

For people just getting PT4 now, this is indeed how it is now.... BUT for all those who purchased prior to July 2022 this does not apply (it's a one time fee, with no maintenance fees)

As long as the pokerrooms don´t change anything this may be right, with some little drawbacks.
These are listed here and below.
- Can I Still Use PokerTracker Without Annual Support & Maintenance?
Annual Support & Maintenance is included for free the first year. If you decide not to renew, you can continue using PokerTracker without restrictions with all updates released before Support & Maintenance has expired.
However, you will no longer have access to updates released after the expiration of your Annual Support & Maintenance. These updates could include:- Support for new games types introduced by poker sites.
- Poker site changes that could impact the ability for some hands to properly import.
- New tools and functionality released for PokerTracker.
- Do I Need to Re-Purchase If My Annual Support & Maintenance Expires?
You can simply resume your existing Support & Maintenance for up to 2 years after initial expiration date.
When you resume within 2 years, you will receive a discount on renewal price instead of having to pay the full initial price.
After 2 years have passed since Support and Maintenance expiration, full initial price has to be paid to resume the maintenance.

As others have said, free or cheap options are kind of limited these days. But if you are serious about online poker, then PT4 or HM3 are still a good investment, if you play on sites, where you can use them. Its important to remember, that the HUD is only a feature of those programs. They also collect all your hands and results for you, which makes off the table study way easier.

You can play on GG and use the HUD that is integrated into the platform. It's not perfect, but it's definitely better than nothing.
