The Ice Hockey World Championship started on May 10. The host country of the 87th championship is the Czech Republic. Which national team will you support?

The Austrian team has brought a historic surprise. They played back a 5-goal gap against Canada, but lost in overtime with a score of 7:6. In the next game against Finland, the Austrians played back the gap of 2 goals and scored the winning goal in 0.2 seconds. The referee needed a video replay.

I would bet Canada, they will soon get Connor McDavid and Evan Bouchard, maybe even RNH. Although Swiss will get Craisitle. I’m gonna put a cpl $$ on Canada right now.

Recently watched the third division of the World Cup where Ukraine defeated all their opponents (Lithuania 4-1, Estonia 8-0, Spain 6-1, Netherlands 4-0 and China 9-0). Thus, the Ukraine national team entered the second division, where they will play a year later with stronger opponents: Hungary, Slovenia, Italy, Japan and Romania. But I am pleased that Ukrainian hockey even in such difficult conditions is developing and the players are happy with their game.

Wouldn't it be nice if this championship could be moved to the fall so it didn't conflict with the Stanley Cup playoffs?
