Has anybody lost money on sports betting?

Ive lost about $1300 on sports betting before i stopped the activity. Extremely difficult to make money off this route. What are your experiences? The biggest bet i lost was when the Bryan brothers lost a match to lower ranked opponents (tennis players, i think they were world no 1 or 2 at the time).

Bankroll management is required in both sports betting and poker. The principles alone are the same, but specific strategies may differ, of course.

I lose money all the time but I win money too. The trick is to win more than you lose. Never bet on some team or game you are not familiar with. BRM is very important in Sports Betting! Never bet all you have on 1 game. Watch for trends! Keep stats on yourself and the sports you bet on!

Overall I am breaking even only recently I starting betting on sports again this month on 888 sport for more points to move up levels faster and gold tokens. This month my record 26 wins 24 losses. Upsets happen all the time recently the 8th seed Nashville Predators won two games on the road against the 1st seed Chicago Blackhawks. The Chicago Bulls beat the Boston Celtics last night. It is hard to predict outcomes.

I've mainly struck out on parlays. However the place I like to place my parlay bets pays out well AND runs hourly $1 winner takes all freerolls. During the american football season I play there when I can make a parlay bet with every game.
