With Cristiano and Messi out of Europe, the question is asked who could match their level, that's where Lamine Yamal emerges, a very young promise of excellent quality to play football, winning 2 La Liga titles, 1 European Championship and reaching the Semifinals of the last Champions League, in my opinion we are facing the best player in the world and the greatest promise of this generation

It's hard to say that Lamine is the best player right now. He has enormous potential, but he's still young. Let him play a few seasons at a good level and then we'll be able to say whether he's the best or not. In my opinion, Mbappe or Halland is the best right now. It depends on pitch position of course.

Honestly, I get why people are excited about Lamine Yamal. The kid is doing things at 16 that most players don’t even dream of at 25. The mix of confidence, technique, and decision-making at such a young age is crazy impressive, and he definitely looks like one of the brightest talents of this generation. If he keeps developing in the same direction, he could really become something special.

But at the same time, calling him “the best player in the world” already feels a bit too early for me. He still has a long road ahead, and a lot can change as defenders adapt and the pressure gets bigger. I’d rather enjoy the ride and watch how he grows season by season. If he manages to stay grounded and consistent, then, yeah, maybe in a few years this conversation will be a lot more realistic. For now, he’s more of a future superstar than a finished one.
