Wow really! that must have been awesome to see liveIanP304 said:My daughter was at this game with her Uncle ... although due to traffic she missed the 1st half yet still got to see 12 goals in the 2nd half alone absolute craziness lol
I’m notsure taking it easy on an opponent helps them get better in the long run ,I mean if it’s injury time and still going flat out that’s not cool but within the 90 minutes I say go at them so they become more determined to be better and come back next time more competitive .Ive been on both sides of it in different sports and all it did when we got blown out was make me know we need to become much better and to look at teams like them and what they’re doing to get better ..flipside ive always encouraged the other team and even offered suggestions/encouragement when the game is done for their teams progression coming from a team who just played them ..I never hold ill will towards teams that have our number unless they win outside of the rules I use it to fuel the fore to get better personally and as a teamDavey_H said:in American Football, at high school and college level in particular, thrashing someone like that is actually considered unsporting conduct.
Was this a group game? If so, it's slightly different because goal difference be crucial and you don't know how many goals your group rivals will score against them.
No excuses when England mens team played San Marino last month - knew going in that they only needed to draw, yet still ran up a 10-0 score - embarrassing
You’re very welcome enjoy the replay in YouTube it’s there .valeski 28 said:Unfortunately. those scores happen when there is a big difference between two teamsI had never heard about a 20-0 before ,though.I will try to watch it on YouTube. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah I prefer to keep it classy even if the other team isn’t having it ...I know I carried myself properly and was the guy always making sure my teams did as well ...celebrate sure ,,be nasty and go over the top about it in their faces ...no ...captain or not in any sport I would be telling them to stop ..because that’s not needed you know you are crushing it ..don’t take all the fun out of it for them by being overly arrogant let the play do the talkingDavey_H said:that's admirable - you show good sportsmanship. Sadly the same can't be said of England men's team, who really are that heinous combination of being ungracious winners and sore losers (see medal ceremony after the euro 2020/1 final)
