Football has stopped all over Europe. But I saw today that the Belarusian football championship continues as before. Fans were present in the stands.

Besides Belarus, I saw that in exotic Nicaragua football also continues ... these seem to be the only countries in the world where they are still playing.

I believe that it may be only a matter of time where other football leagues around the world may need to follow suit because even the most remote areas that aren't currently impacted by this may be at risk eventually. As we've seen in other sports leagues around the world, it just takes one case (athlete, personnel, stadium staffer, fan) to shut things down and other leagues may need to follow suit before that happens. It'll take worldwide cooperation to get past this.

Even this way i find it quite strange that today-tomorrow there isnt not a single football game. I guess i definitely haven't seen anything like that ever before ...

Football lives and will continue to live in the future.

I don't know exactly about what is happening in Belarus, but I believe they know what they are doing. Hope to see football come back to our screens soon.

In my opinion this is an unjustified risk that can lead to a great tragedy. But it's not for me to judge. Let the President of Belarus have a headache.

Cause they are the only (european) league still going then luckily for them many countries have bought TV rights to show just their league ... I believe 10 (or more) countries have done exactly that - for example Russia, Ukraine, India, Israel. Guess Greece wasn't one of them then.

Many people who did not follow the Belarusian championship are now watching closely. I'm one of them.

I think the situation will not last long. Too much money lost will force players in other countries to enter the field. Just a business.

I think it would be more correct to suspend all the championships, people's lives are more important

Fans staged a boycott and do not attend the championship matches. They demand to cancel the championship and think about the health of players and fans. The Belarusian people demand that the President introduce a special regime due to the high speed of the spread of the coronavirus. Lukashenko is silent.

I guess Belarus should not be affected by the virus yet, but people should still be vigilant and try to stay at home and avoid going out

Now I watch Belarusian football and the commentator said that there will be a break, but from what date he did not say. There are no fans in the stands and the game looks like a training session.

Many fans began to boycott the games. They are worried about the threat of a virus.

People all over Belarus are under this threat. Only one Lukashenko stands his ground.
