They say that in the past, athletes were given marks just like that, and the certificate was practically given away, since in reality, athletes do not know anything, because they have seen nothing in life except training.In general education schools, athletes are disliked for frequently skipping classes, and therefore higher demands are placed on knowledge.

Good point. You do not have much time to educate yourself if you must give 100% to your chosen sport to be competitive.

I guess you are referring to what i think of as soccer players. I think they might get lots of leg injuries but not as many concussions as those in American football or hockey or boxing etc so I think they actually might retain more brain cells for longer than some of the other athletes.
