You're absolutely right, the death of golf after Tiger Woods was greatly exaggerated. Just look how talented the top is today. It would be hard enough to win on the Web.com tour - grab a copy of Golf Week, thumb toward the back and check out the tour results. Lots of low scores on the lower levels, lots of known players having to play to qualify.

Wow, this thread feels like it started a century ago with Tiger ranked #1. Honestly it hasn't been that long but with his current drop off, it feels like forever ago. Golf doesn't need Tiger to get back to the top 10, but no one else brings in ratings like Eldrich. The tour is doing well right now with 3 guys in their 20s leading the way, but they aren't Tiger.
