I think that Liverpool is a very unstable club. And his game is also unstable.

The perfect scenario to me is Klopp retiring in 2024 and after that we sign Gerrard as the skipper.

He mention retirement before too but he stayed on. Hope he keeps on staying for a long time.

He has built a very solid foundation at the club, so after he leaves, and someone like Gerrard takes over, we won't be starting from zero again, but with a lot of talented and still young players that have been well-trained and improved a lot under Klopp

Extremely good aggregate win

This was never going to be an easy tie when this draw was made, Inter for me were one of the favourites and i never thought Liverpool would destroy them and then even after the superb 2-0 away win, i thought..hmmm.

Tonight's game however did show Inters quality albeit Liverpool hit the woodwork i think 3 times, it was quite a dirty game too and Liverpool showed they can mix it as well as show real quality.

Trent was outstanding and for me Man Of The Match.

Liverpool will take some stopping in this tournament now and i would not want to be a side who gets drawn against them.

I agree Inter is a strong team, but is not on the UCL favourite tie yet.

About the game, Jota and Thiago were playing below the rest of the team, Thiago always was, a horrible player.

Diaz and Keita/Hendo couldnt be reserves on the team.

Many Liverpool players had an off night, Mo Salah really not having good form over last few games. But always a sign of a great team when you can beat the Italian champions (over the two legs) and be way below best form. But as the saying goes, form is temporary, class is permanent! Next game, Brighton.

I am pretty sure that both Liverpool and Manchester City would rather avoid playing eachother in the next round cause then they would have to meet 3 times in 7 days ...

Last three matches are showing that Liverpool is vulnerable in defense, mainly on their wing backs, too much they go to attack and do not put enough effort to defend and give a lot of space for their opponents . Escaped from Chelsea, escaped from West ham, now with Inter, that can be fatal in the upcoming crucial matches for the team.

You're absolutely right. Powerful and massive attack means risks in defence. That's why we have the best (in my opinion) goalkeeper at the moment and some of the best CBs. I think this weakness won't be that noticable if we score more goals.

I am going all out on this prediction.

Beat Arsenal and i make Liverpool joint favourites with City to win title even 1 point behind.
I think City will drop more points before they reach 38 games - Liverpool, less likely so.
I have to admire Klopp and the way he has alternated his centre back pairing of Konate/Matip with VVD. I personally prefer Matip as he is a bedrock but Konate has the ability to burst out of defence like Yaya Toure used to do for city and he was a midfielder!
Massive game v Arsenal - if they turn up, it will be close but Liverpool these days have the best firepower in the country with the addition of Diaz.
Salah/Mane/Jota/Diaz/Firmino/Origi - scarily good

Was a great game against Arsenal, who have become really good over last month or two. Liverpool is able to adapt their game, Arsenal were better first half, but in the second half Liverpool found the solutions needed. Once again fantastic substitions by Klopp with Bobby scoring with a brilliant finish.

I was so happy when Bobby scored that goal and went directly into the crowd of our supporters. Beautiful goal and beautiful celebration! We've got to remain patient and concentrated as we were in this game.
