Generally speaking yes, hit the gym for sometime and try to get over yourself each time...you will see mind is the main blocker.

Absolutely. If you look at most professional sports, the superstars are not necessarily the best athletes. Most will agree that Serena Williams was the greatest women's tennis player, but, as you can see from her current TV commercials for a weight loss product, she could have been in better shape physically. Years ago, Diego Maradona was great, as is Messi today...are they the best athletes physically?...probably not. In basketball, Michael Jordan was in super shape, but so were most NBA players. Jordan refused to lose...his mind was his greatest asset. Wayne Gretzky was not the best skater, but he had a knack of anticipating where the action was going...the best players have that sixth sense; that's what sets them apart from the excellent human specimens they faced in competition.
