If he stays in that weak American league called MLS for a couple of years he will probably reach it. The defenders are horrible.

I don't think Messi will be able to score 1000 goals for the rest of his career. Yes, Lionel is the idol of Argentine soccer. But for example, when speculating whether LeBron James will hit 40,000 points in the NBA, I agree, as it is realistic. But Messi and 1,000 goals? Let's be realistic - it's unreal.
