MLB 2022 Betting Thread

I looked but nobody started one so I guess I'll be starting this off. MLB opening day is Thursday April 7th with 9 games.

Most of the BIG named free agents are signed so we have a good idea of the starting lineups and pitching rotations so I started looking at teams for possible playoff and world series bets so I'm excited.

Bassitt looks like a tremendous addition to the team

If DeGrom stops trying to throw the ball through a wall and just puts up 3.25 era numbers then the team will do very well.

I've always liked that Marte fella. I hope the Mets do well this season but they usually disappoint their fans.

Going to see how this Greene rookie for the Reds does today against Atlanta. I have no idea if he gets the jitters and does poorly or does well. Everyone is talking about him. He didn't do so well in spring training but that might change.

Interested in the Brewers @ Cubs game since Peralta is facing Stroman so "should be" a good game.

I watched some of the Brewers @ Cubs game and couldn't believe the Cubs scored 3 in the first inning!! Cubs tried but just weren't good enough to win today.

Didn't watch the Reds game but everyone is saying the rookie Greene did really well and might develop into a dominate pitcher in the years to come which would be great for the Reds and MLB.

Hope everyone enjoyed watching a little baseball over the weekend. Here's to another week of uninterrupted baseball.

I wish they could clone Tampa's talent team/GM and send them to every Midwest team so baseball would be so much more competitive.

They seem to win every year with such little money and its just a joy to watch. Even if they don't win, at least they have a shot at the payoffs and they're competitive every year.

Disappointed in Kershaw's performance against Atlanta but he put in his 5 innings. I'm expecting the Braves to do very well this year even with all the Met hype but we'll see.

That Degrom fella looks like he's done and I doubt he'll be pitching any meaningful games with all this trying to throw the ball through a brick wall.

He just needs to put up a 3.25/3.50 era and call it a day but he wants to do crazy stuff with the ball and destroy his arm, lol. Typical Met. If you look around the league those numbers would still stand out the way the season is going with all these mediocre pitchers.
