The NBA's Terry Rozier, Miami Heat guard and Chauncey Billups, Portland Trail Blazers coach, were among those arrested by the FBI as a result of investigations of illegal gambling that spanned 11 states and were said to have mafia ties. Rozier was arrested in Orlando and is expected to appear in court today. Billups was arrested in Oregon in connection with an illegal poker operation, which may have been tied to the mafia.

Yes, I saw this news today while watching highlights of the Portland Trail Blazers game against Minnesota Timberwolves. What can I say? Scary Terry ruined his career, as did Chauncey Billups, undoubtedly a very talented coach and legendary Detroit Pistons player. It's a shame. :(

Saw this also in the news. Makes one wonder why someone who receives millions of dollars a year already in salaries still gets involved in such dishonest illegal stuffs. Mind boggling.

Whats crazy is how much they put at risk just to make $50k in some cases, especially when some of them make 20 mil a year.
