NFL/college football betting thread 2015

I'm picking the Jets to win straight up for a great price, plus my profit margin is enough to allow me to pick a few long shots here and there.

Not to mention, the Colts struggles against the Bills makes it an OK bet for the payoff.

IMO I don't think INDY can cover 7 points even at home vs any somewhat capable team. I don't think the Jets are a great team but maybe the Colts struggles will carry over to this week, on a national stage.

What a huge score. The Jets defense is good, probably better than most people think. The offense is solid as well. Although there are some deficiencies at the QB spot.

Stayed away from this game after the weekend I had. Figured it may go either way. This game should squelch some of that Indy to the Super Bowl talk. Love it!

Does it have to be a parlay? Why not just take a line with the free bet, and freeroll it with another bet on the other side of the line?

Tonight I'm picking the Redskins straight up, for a couple reasons.

I really like their offensive line, their run game and their defense. Their interior line will give Eli fits in the backfield and force some wild throws. I'm getting a good price once again and I don't believe in the Giants at all, even at home.

The Jets have been big benefactors for fumble luck so far. They have the highest turnover margin in the NFL (+8). Give them a full season at that turnover pace, they'd be at +64. Best ever turnover margin in history: +43 by the 1993 Redskins. They just can't keep this pace up. They seem like a huge regression candidate. But I'm talking myself into the Jets -2 just because I hate the Eagles more.
