It's strange, I'm not as into sports this time of year as I usually would be with football. Yesterday passed like it was nothing, though I did manage to watch parts of the Green Bay - Philly game, and Vick looked pretty good.

I wonder if my indifference has to do with losing in a big fantasy baseball playoff week...

They have competed. That Rivers has no class at all. Saw his ranting & sulking shortly into the 2nd half. Can you even imagine Favre (or almost any QB) acting this way? Poor leadership, really sad. If I were on the offense on this team, I would hate him.

The return by Dexter McCluster was awesome! Chiefs played well but Chargers always start slow in the beggining of the season plus they dont have V Jackson.

No excuses for the Chargers. If they don't have the mental toughness now, I doubt they're going to all of a sudden show it later. Maybe playing in that perfect weather is a detriment? They can't build the mental toughness they need
