Keane must be under some real pressure at Ipswich, I honestly though a few seasons ago that they'd be making a real push for promotion soon. Suprised he's still there with the start he's made, hard times, hard times.
Roy Keane.
Contract two years.
Must achieve promotion in two years.
I have only watched one Ipswich game this season, and can't afford to go again until december.
I take my wife or son, and we stay in a B&B Friday and Saturday nights, total cost these days for petrol, parking, B&B, meals, booze and tickets amounts to £500. We like to make a weekend of it, and socialising with the fans over a pint or two is very important to me.
You mentioned Roy Keane being under pressure, well I have to say; Most of the more knowledgeable fans are still quite Philosophical about the two year plan for promotion. Not a single Ipswich fan acquaitance of mine has even mentioned the possibility of Relegation. The general concensus of opinion is that Ipswich are playing good football, creating chances, but need a goal scorer.
I don't mix with the doom and gloom type's, but going on a pub crawl with my acquaintances, we came across plenty of so called fans demanding Roy Keane's head. How fickle are football fans these days? I have to say most of the Roy Keane for the chop brigade, were very young (late teens), and youngsters have no patience!
I just long for the Ipswich v Liverpool encounters, my wife (Liverpool fan)and I have never missed one. Those encounters are beginning to feel like a very distant memory!
I live in hope!
Come on Roy Keane!
Maybe we will get to the play offs!!!!!
