Poker players must play chess too

I play chess and can find no real connection to poker.In chess there is usually one correct move.Whereas with poker you have multiple choices.

Whatever has a winner and a loser I like doing it.

I liked GOW and, GOW2 - Haven't played enough of the other(s) to like or not like it.. but I never got into competitive gaming for GOW like I did Halo, such as MLG or ummm can't think of what it's called atm but they took over MLG for Halo..

My grandfather taught me to play chess when I was 3-4 years old, to keep it simple, lot of players can do it in poker but almost none can do it in chess, a novice poker player can always get lucky where there is no luck involved in chess. One single card can change a destiny of a poker player.

I play Gears 1 all the time still, it's my favourite game ever I'm also a big halo fan! You mean gamebattles? I don't really play competive but I am competitive if you get me lol

If to play good poker, I need to be able to play chess I will give up right now.

Yea I know how to play chess, I know what moves where, but for the life of me I CAN'T play chess. I am not good enough to notice moves ahead of what is happening. My skill @ chess is "Totally Braindead"

I have learned the game of chess before I started poker. So I guess I passed. But why do poker players need to play chess. Do dogs have to chase mice? Makes no sense to me. I have not played chess for many years now and do not plan on playing it either. If I like to go fishing do I have to learn Ballet too?

If poker players tried to play chess it would crush their spirit. Checkers might be less painful.

I think a good chess player can make use of its strategy to be a good poker player.
The reverse does not apply, IMO.

Just saying that a good strategist at chess usually be in poker.

Dont like fishing and ballet.
