I was a die hard fan for the longest time. I met Darryl Sittler once and asked him to marry me. I think I was about 21 years old. He turned me down, but did autograph my jersey with his number on it. I don't watch it anymore for several reasons but good luck to them.

It has to be super hard being a leafs fan at this point knowing a cup isn't coming yet being asked to pay what people do for tickets and caring so much

My dad took me to Leaf games the last few years when they won the Stanley Cup...so I remember when they were great. It is sad to see how they have deteriorated since Harold Ballard became the owner...he died long ago, but the Leaf heritage of mediocrity that was created in the 70s, continues today. Letting Mitch Marner get away was a huge mistake...roster goofups like this hurt a franchise for years to come.

I was a huge leaf fan decades ago,Sittler was my favorite leaf and when Ballard traded him vowed I never cheer for leafs again,fast forward to today I am a big London Knight fan and we have so many players that are now all playing in the NHL I have a hard time cheering for any 1 team, watching these kids since they were 16 and playing their hearts out for us here in London I just cheer for any of them,and hate to tell you leaf fans,you guys missed the boat when you guys let Mark Hunter get away,if he was made GM you would have won the cup already,any team that gives that guy total control of their team will win a cup in 5 years or less and compete for a chance to win every year,the Hunter boys they just win
