My favourite sportsman is Nick Galis.

Aris brought him out of nowhere back in 1979, and, along with his teammate Panagiotis Giannakis, he made Aris the "Emperor" of greek basketball with 9 champions, 6 cups, 5 doubles and 3 times in the Final Four of the FIBA European Champions' Cup during the late 80s (without the assistance of foreign players and vs "dream teams" of the era, like Barcelona, Macabi, Jugoplastika, etc).

Also in 1987 he was the MVP of the Greece National Basketball Team that won the European Championship for the first time in their history.
