Was my call correct after the long stack shoved? Should I have waited for the prize money ($0.50 for the 3rd, $0.75 for the 2nd, $1.00 for the 1st, where the expected value of a bounty was $0.24) instead?

I might consider folding here if I were at ggmillions, or in more expensive tournaments...
We'd probably need a lot of extra equity to make the call, but I think it's worth the risk.

We have a strong hand, and if we call all-in, we'll be competing for a bounty that's almost always the minimum prize or close to it, plus there are still many players left before we reach the mini-cash.

Definitely, going all-in from the small blind can discourage us, but if we win, we'd still be in a very good position for the rest of the tournament with much higher chances of winning more money.

So in the end, just a close call... Who knows, maybe a little more luck next time!

It would be a huge mistake to fold a hand as strong as AQs in a bounty format. In a regular MTT it would be a fold, when the chip leader has moved in.
